Resorcinol/silica/formaldehyde adhesion system
PROPERTIES: Resorcinol is an ingredient of resorcinol/silica white/formaldehyde adhesion system. It can lead to formation of resorcinol/formaldehyde resin adhesion system for rubber and fabric or steel cord together with formaldehyde donors (such as H-80 or HMMM- 50) in processing. The system is suitable to adhesion between various rubber and reinforcing materials such as fibers, glass fibers and metal (such as steel cord). DOSAGE: 2-4phr usually. APPLICATIONS: Tyres, conveyor beltings, V beltings, circular tapes, fire-fighting hoses, other reinforced hoses, soft containers, fabric coating.
